Description
Our blown stretch film (shrink wrap) line is manufactured using a process called blown extrusion, which involves melted plastic that is extruded through a slit die. The result is a tougher, heavier duty, and resilient stretch film compared to our cast line. The higher mechanical properties of blown film typically allow a greater load holding power and more resistant to punctures caused by unevenly loaded shipments or sharp edges.
Advantages of Blown Stretch Film:
- Higher load and stretch capacity
- Higher quality of film
- Higher degree of memory once stretched allowing loads to stay better secured
- Higher tear resistance is an advantage when securing loads with sharp edges
